The Mini Mutt Strut will take place right at SRAS and guests are invited to bring their dog-friendly, leashed dogs. This walk is short and easy-paced – not a race. Registration is encouraged ahead of time, but it is not required; drop in anytime from 4-6 p.m. to participate. Early registration ensures participants will receive a one-of-a-kind bandana for their dog.
In addition to these activities, the anniversary celebration will highlight several exciting new features at Snake River Animal Shelter:
- Project Liebe Play Yard: Guests can tour the newly renovated dog play yard, dedicated in memory of a beloved donor whose family honored her lifelong devotion to her dog with this generous gift.
- The Carrie Scheid Humane Education Project: A first-of-its-kind, self-guided educational experience for animal lovers of all ages.
- Debut of the New SRAS Logo: The shelter’s refreshed look will be revealed just prior to the celebration.
Guests will also be able to meet Reginald, the World’s Largest Dog – a 7-year-old Great Dane who will be making a special appearance!
